Creating offense off the rush, manipulating defenders, & finishing with touch.

Charlie Walsh is a left-shot forward for Mount St. Charles Academy (13U AAA) whose HPC profile highlights a player comfortable carrying the puck through traffic, attacking defenders with confidence, and creating scoring chances off the rush.

We pulled three clips that showcase his ability to start plays from his own end, maintain control through the neutral zone, and finish with creativity in tight.

Across the reel, Charlie consistently pushes pace with the puck, using linear crossovers, subtle fakes, and quick hands to separate from defenders and turn possession into offense.

1. End-to-End Rush → Traffic Dangle → Soft-Touch Finish
Charlie takes the puck from his own end and drives through the neutral zone using strong linear crossovers to build speed. He beats multiple defenders before finishing with a soft chip shot over the goaltender’s glove.

2. Neutral-Zone Carry → Two-on-One → High-Glove Finish
Starting the rush once again, Charlie weaves through the neutral zone and creates a two-on-one down the left side. With a left-shot angle, he elects to shoot and snipes it high glove on a reverse-catching goaltender.

3. 3-on-3 Overtime → Stick Lift → Tight-Area Finish
In three-on-three overtime, Charlie wins the draw but briefly loses the puck on the return pass from his defenseman. He quickly lifts his opponent’s stick to regain possession, strips a second defender in tight, and finishes in close by pulling the puck between his legs and shooting against the grain for the overtime winner.
